Help... How can I post a Background?? {edited}

So I've made my own background and I love it!!! But I don't know how in the world I get a code to post it???????? I love all the fun things other people can do on here like make clickable links and share them!!! I'm a bit slow in the coding world LOL i'm good at making stuff but not good at figure this coding thing out LOL!!! I need your help please!!


I wanted to add that I also can't reply to my posts either!!?? Sometimes on my other computer I can reply but I can't see what I'm typing :( IDK what to do to get this blog to work right for me??

Also the background I have on here isn't mine I got it from a website and would love to add my own but when I put it in photobucket and tried to add it it just made a little picture on my sidebar :( Uhhhh I hope to figure all this out LOL

Guacamole Garlic Hummus

I made this for New Years Eve and it was a big hit besides my salsa ( that I forgot to take a pix of)

1 Avocado
1 (15 oz) can Chick Peas drained
A lot of Garlic. I'm not gonna lie I used like 10 cloves
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/8 tsp of whole peppercorns
1/8 tsp Paprika
1/8 tsp Cumin
1/8 tsp Adobo Seasoning
About a cup of fresh Cilantro (washed and)
Olive Oil about a 1/2 cup. I start off with a little and keep adding more  if I'm having trouble mixing.

Put ever thing in a food processor and just mix till nice and smooth!! The more lemon juice that you add the longer this will last. Mine was out all night and never turned brown. Use less garlic if you don't want bad breath like me LOL

The nest day I used it on a Veggie Burger and it was amazingly Yummy!!!

Also I wanted to add that Hubby doesn't like Guacamole but he loved this stuff!!!

My Crazy New Bathroom

Hehehe!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been wanted to do something fun in here but just didn't know what!!!??? Shabby Chic was totally out for this room say's Hubby!! LOL My mom gave this this really cool calendar for the New Year that has some amazing pictures. I kinda used this as inspiration!! I should have took a pic off the page I went off of!! Darn!!!!!!! Also I've been following SAra's Art House and she is filled of Colorful Fun ideas!! Here house is simply amazing and when I saw it I thought I can totally give up some Shabby Chic for this Artsy kinda decor!! And if you all know me I'm very artsy and a very creative person!! So are my kids!!

My Valentine's Shelf

I like to pretend this is my Mantel and just want to decorate it like every month to some new theme!! LOL I took all the Christmas stuff down so thought I'd go ahead and jump right into Valentine's!!! I don't really have that much of Valentines stuff though!! I do have a lot of heart things around my house cause it's kinda been a new obsession of mine LOL. Also I made a Valentines Subway Art!!! I just love all the Subway Art everyone makes on blogs so I wanted to make one myself!!! Hope you Enjoy your weekend!! Tomorrow is my birthday so Hubby & I are going out with his brother and girlfriend. My parents are gonna take the kiddies overnight for a sleepover! They are pretty excited!!

How to Please a Man

I was talking to Hubby the other day about all these projects I want to do around the house!! We've lived here for 2 and half years and I still feel like there;s so much to do! I'm always redecorating and moving things around cause I get bored very easily!! Hehehe I just can't help myself!!! I was asking what he thought about this and that and that my mom had a hutch for me, you know cause I don't own enough furniture around here LOL. He was like "well it doesn't matter. My opinion doesn't matter cause you do what you want around here!!" He said we have different tastes and I won't let him win!! He can't bare to have one more Shabby Chic item enter this house LOL. My style or styles I should say are Shabby Chic, Country, Cottage, anything Vintage, I also Love fun and funky stuff. He'd go more this modern plain and simple and clean. How do we share the same house??? IDK??? I've decided to downsize the Shabby a bit and find something new!! But what?? I want to redo every room and make us both happy!! How in the world can I mix up both are tastes and make my house pretty!! He's like to buy all new stuff and I'd much rather dig through junk and go to Flea Markets or Goodwill and repaint every thing in site LOL. Should I just pick a room and kinda get it simple to more his style??? Also I'm so darn sick of the Butter colored walls in my dinning and living room!! They share this one big wall and I just don't know if I'm ready to paint both rooms right now? I can't even find a color to paint?? The color is called Moon Mist and it's like a very pale Yellow Cream color. I really am hating the color. We painted our stairway wall a Bold red color, I think it's called Cherry Cobbler it's a deep red. I don't want another dark color but what color would flow well with this??? Winter always seems so long to be trapped up in the house and I just want to get my house in order and love it!!! I was inlove with this house and begged hubby to buy it!! Now I'm not loving it so much!! So I thought if I could just redecorate on a very strict budget I'd like it much better!! Also I have this tiny little living room that I just don't know what to do this!! Doesn't help out 62 inch TV takes up all the space LOL. I'll have to start taking pix and maybe I get get some advice????? I search and search online in hopes I can find a room that I love and just want to replicate on my own but no luck yet!! I have to just pull it outta my head I guess!!! Time to start watching more HGTV!!!!!! Good Day All!!

New Years Resolutions

Hey everyone!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their Holiday!!!!! Mine was very crazy and I was sick for like a week so that sucked pretty bad!!!!! But the kids got everything they wanted and I got a wireless printer :) We took down the dead tree cause of all the darn pine needles all over the place LOL..... I thought I'd share my New Years Resolutions with you!!! Plus I can look back and see if I can sick with them!! I feel like 2010 flew by so fast!! I feel like I didn't even do much with myself. I've enjoyed meeting a lot of new friends online this past year so that's a plus!! I'm excited to share another year with my wonderful Hubby and family. So here we go some plans for the new year!!

1. I've dyed my hair Brown, and I'm hoping to grow it out for 2011!!!
~ I've dyed it every color and managed to ruin the crap outta my poor hair in 2010 :( Time to get my hair back!!!

2. I wanna get on track with my Vegan diet. I've been having a tough time giving up cheese which is no excuse since theirs so many Vegan cheeses out there. I love eating Vegan and it makes me feel so good and so healthy!!

3. I'd like to save money to go to school to become a Makeup Artist.
It's my passion and once all the kids are in school full time I want to do something I love and enjoy!!

4. I want to get my house more organized !! Sometimes I think I just let things go cause I'm so busy with the kids and life!!! But I'm so crabby when things are outta place!!

5. I really want to do something with my bedroom this year. We've lived here for 2 years and still have ugly paneling on the walls and I just want a pretty Shabby Chic bedroom!! Hubby just hung some shutters above our bed as a faux headboard and I love it so much I just want the room to look beautiful!!!!

6. I want to learn something new this year!! IDk know what but I hope by the end of the year I can say I learn THIS!!! I just would love to learn something new!! Hope to find it!!!

7. And last!!!!! My whole life I've always wanted to write a book!!! I talk to Hubby about it all the time!! He's always asking when I'm gonna start!!! Well I have no clue as to what I'd like to write about!!!???? I just know that this year I'd like to find something that I'd like to write about even if it's just for myself!!!!! I feel like someday it's gonna come to me but when??????????????
